Rachel Schwartz is the practice leader for the Public Relations and Communications Search Practice at RRD Partners, Inc. She specializes in identifying and recruiting top talent in the public relations and corporate communications industry. Her clients include companies of all sizes from start-up to Fortune 500 and from boutique firms to the top global public relations agencies.
She joined RRD Search in July 2004 following ten years at Arnold Huberman & Associates, an executive search and management consultancy. During her tenure there, she built a successful practice working for many of the country’s leading PR firms, media companies, sports organizations and major U.S. corporations.
Areas of expertise include placement of senior level corporate communications executives across all industries including consumer products, financial services, emerging technologies, entertainment, and professional services. Ms. Schwartz’s strengths include a keen understanding of the skills required to be successful and targeted proactive outreach to identify and recruit outstanding candidates.
Ms. Schwartz is a seasoned public relations executive having begun her career working at several of the nation’s top public relations agencies in the areas of media relations, consulting, crisis communications, event planning and strategy. She has held senior level positions at such agencies as Rubenstein Associates, Cohn & Wolfe and Dan Klores Public Relations.
Ms. Schwartz began her career as an assistant in the public relations department of Manhattan Cable TV. She attended the Indiana University School of Journalism and received her B.A. degree from the University of Connecticut. She lives in Westport, Connecticut with her husband, Perry. Ms. Schwartz is a die-hard Yankee fan and a habitual home builder.
